Slam have decided to give away the parts and sounds for the A-sides of their first 4 paragraph releases.

The idea was inspired by real 2 real disco re-edits, says Meikle, when people used to make different versions of tracks for club-play. In this day and age of instantly available music, we think it would be cool to give people the choice to remix and re edit our tracks, so they have there own individual versions, says McMillan. Its also a way for new producers to get an incite into how we make our music and hopefully inspire them to create something new and exiting.

To download the parts send a blank email to paragraph[@]somarecords.com and we'll send you the links.

For Heal’s new album, Supernatural, Laurent Perrier has cut, sampled and rearranged the work of 11 talented guest musicians in a collage of instruments, synthetic abstractions and nervous compositions.
Playing the mad scientist, Heal makes Supernatural’s side A a total hybrid, full of references, where Amon Tobin jazzy tunes meet the Pink Panther and classic American comics, where massive exotica echoes post war film noir…
Somewhere in between synth pop and ambient dub, side B is more electronic, contemplative, and continues the exploration of harmony that, since “Starting back”, has become project Heal’s trademark.

Supernatural is a record like a cinematographic experience, rich of its own contrasts and colours.

GENEVIEVE PASQUIER - Le Cabaret Moi - Ant-Zen

le cabaret moi. cd. ant-zen act231 three years after soap bubble factory and virgin pulses, ant-zen is proud to present geneviéve pasquier's new album. from the very first note the listener will be mesmerized by the elegant electronic pulses that are dominated by the persuasive/icy quality of her vulnerable and adorable voice. le cabaret moi is geneviéve pasquier's very own cabaret.  a cabaret which transforms her desires into fourteen songs of diverse styles (without regard to any arbitrariness). the music's scope ranges from subtle, slow-moving ambience (changing, nobody's darling), electro noise tunes (bouge!, fusion), beautiful atmospheric lounge cabaret (mon cabaret), insistent electroid beats (rubberpop) and finally into a furious rapid interpretation of the normal's warm leatherette. at once beautiful and distant, geneviéve pasquier's delivery speaks to everyone's feelings of loneliness, anger and pleasure that crop up at some point in life. a revue of class and noblesse - enter and enjoy your stay!

New EDH Release ‘New-York Tracks ’ (Matte Black Editions)

EDH received the Qwartz Discovery in 2007.

"New York Tracks is like a rough lonely path, a slow and careful progression with a weak flashlight towards trenches where madness is never far away. The album is a long and winding road, crossing lands of ashes where abstractions become oases. In this sonic world, we perceive at times the ghost of Nico, the specter of “Geek The Girl” from Lisa Germano and the darkness of “Pornography” from the Cure."

This release is in free download

There is also a special numered CDr version coming with the second cd (11 euros worldwide shipping included)
